Office for External Relations
Our task is to function as a support and a contact for companies, organizations, and authorities who wish to cooperate with Umeå University.
You are welcome to contact us when you need some help to develop an idea, solve a problem, or improve your level of professional competence. We act as an intermediary for:
- degree projects and papers
- trainee jobs and study visits
- contacts and various forms of support for the cooperation between industry and researchers
- a wide variety of academic competence to improve your level of professional competence
- contract training and education
We also initiate meeting places between academy and industry to inform people about what Umeå University has to offer.
Locally, we are represented in Lycksele, Skellefteå, Örnsköldsvik, and Kiruna. These regional offices function as the University’s operative resource in the dialogues with local industry and society.
